An Escape Room is a real-life escape experience based on the Japanese online game, 'Takagism'. Players are locked inside a themed room, and need to work as a team to solve a series of puzzles, riddles and hints in order to escape within the 60 minute time limit.

We offer a fun and memorable experience to enjoy with your friends, colleagues or family. Our games are very challenging but give you a great sense of achievement and encourage you to work together as a team to solve puzzles. Our London Bridge venue is one of the longest running escape rooms in London and our newer venue at Angel offers a hi-tech experience unlike anything else you will find in the capital.

Our two locations contain very different styles of escape games. If you're looking for a traditional locks, keys and codes room then we would suggest you book at London Bridge. Here you will find Room 33 and Pharaoh's Chamber, two of our most popular rooms that follow the classic non-linear format.

If you are looking for something a bit different and a tad more physical then why not check out the games at our venue in Angel. Project D.I.V.A and The Dark Side of the Moon both have futuristic themes and follow a linear pattern so depend on teams working together to solve a series of puzzles and tasks while facing obstacles such as lasers, slides and space Nazis

You can book for 3-7 players for Pharaoh's Chamber, Project D.I.V.A. and The Dark Side of the Moon. Room 33 however can only take 3-6 players due to limited space at the start of the game. The optimum team size for any of our games is 4-5 players.

Although the minimum team size is stated as 3 players for all our rooms we have had many teams of 2 come to try out and enjoy our games. We do not have a set price for 2 players but should you wish to take on the challenge as a couple please book for 3 players and just arrive as the 2 of you on the day.

We can not allow any more players than the maximum numbers stated above in any one room. If you have a larger team you can book both rooms at one of our venues for the same time or book simultaneous time slots. Please email us for more information.

While there is no restriction on age, the puzzles may be too demanding for those under 12, so they may not fully enjoy the game. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Our rooms are fairly spacious with high ceilings and we can leave the entry door unlocked if that helps you to feel more comfortable. Pharaoh's Chamber is one of our larger rooms so may be a good option if you have any one in your team concerned about the size of the space.

Project D.I.V.A does contain a section in which 2 members of the team will be required to climb inside small compartments which they will remain in until their team complete a puzzle. These compartments are roughly 4 metres in length and 70 x 77 cm in width and height. If required this section can be bypassed.

You can book online via our website. Once you select an available time slot you will have 20 minutes to complete the payment in order to secure the booking.

Escape rooms is a live game and once a booking is confirmed we can not accept any cancellations or give any refunds. However you can reschedule the game for another time by giving us at least 7 day's notice before your booking is due to take place. For reschedules please contact us by email at booking@escaperooms.co.uk

You are welcome to bring extra people to join your game as long as the total number of players does not exceed the capacity for the room you have booked. Extra players will need to pay £20 on arrival.

Please try to arrive 10 minutes before your booked session for your briefing and introduction.

We can accommodate up to 14 players at our Angel venue, and 13 at our London Bridge venue, at any one time across both games. For larger groups we would recommend booking consecutive time slots and splitting into smaller teams accordingly. Both venues are close to a good selection of pubs, bars and restaurants where teams can relax whilst waiting for their turn to play. We also have hotels offering conference and meeting room facilities within a 5 minute walk of both venues.

Each session takes up to a maximum of 90 minutes including an introduction and team photos.

Please email us at info@escaperooms.co.uk for large group bookings.

No food or drinks are allowed to be taken into the room other than bottles of water where required. No alcohol is allowed on site. If any team member is under the influence of alcohol or drugs they will be turned away and no refund will be given.

We are sorry that our game rooms are not suitable for wheelchair users.

No photos or videos are allowed to be taken inside our rooms. Please also do not reveal any of the tricks, puzzles or solutions to your friends or family or the public as they may wish to play in the future and it will spoil it for them.
